Digital Tool: Powerpoint





- powerpoint in a presentation program by Microsoft
- consists of a number of slides (idea derived from the slide projector)
- may contain text, graphics, movies an other objects
- can be printed, displayed off the computer, or navigated on command by presenter


- variety of features can instigate creative ablity
- can be printed, displayed (audio recording) or presented giving an array of options
- can be included in learning experiences and assignment submission
- can be a ‘home base’ for information delivery by hyperlinking other places

- incorporates use of ICT into many aspects of teaching and learning
- easy to learn and use
- engaging, interesting and fun for presenter and audience through text, images, audio video and interactive presentation features
- incorporates visual literacy and presentation skills

- easy to crowd slides making it hard to follow and present
